Roles & responsibilities:

Our Social Advertising Specialist is trusted with monitoring, executing, filtering, and measuring the social media presence of our clients products and brands. This role is integral for all of our digital marketing initiatives and will be a champion for all social advertising.

This position will be responsible for:

Coordinate social media 

  • Coordinate the workflow and oversee writing, design, scheduling, administration of Monday boards, tasks into Notion
  • Track timelines & deliverable dates to ensure they are met
  • Have general social media expertise
  • Attend various social client meetings, as requested
  • Lead social engagement
  • Schedule engagement meetings, action them, and delegate tasks
  • Create stories to compliment organic posts

Content creation and copywriting for organic posts and various client newsletters.

Assist with Campaign ideation and strategy

  • Initial strategy concept along with the marketing team
  • Ensure follow through of ideation is actioned and completed

Onboard and update new and existing clients social profiles for scheduling and creation

Stay up to date with new advertising strategies, platform updates, and industry developments. Consistency use these learnings, along with campaign performance, to develop to improve overall performance.

Skills & Abilities:

  • Social media and marketing experience
  • Proficient with social media platforms and related content
  • Create and monitor content for multiple platforms
  • Devise social advertising strategies
  • Experience working directly in paid social media advertising platforms (Facebook Business Manager, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, etc.) for campaign setup, audience and bid management, and campaign optimization
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Able to work both independently and with a team
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks while switching priorities and focus
  • Ability to deliver projects that have been reviewed and meets the quality standard of Iconium Media

Education & Experience:

  • Advanced knowledge of content and advertising 
  • A degree (or working on a degree) in Media or Marketing an asset
  • Experience working on creating content 
  • Knowledge of production workflow

  • Candidate will be report to Director of Integrated Marketing
